The lecture by Jan Simončič will address question of ontology and the Lacanian concept of parlêtre, which reinvents the question of the subject’s being. It will touch upon the psychoanalytic subversion of Hegel’s and Heidegger’s philosophy in Lacan’s vel of alienation.
Jan Simončič is a member of SALP and head of the Section for Psychoanalytic links. He holds an MA in Philosophy from Kingston University.
The event will be moderated by Nina Krajnik.
